渡辺おさむ個展「Authentic Fake」 2009/02/28 (Sat)

展覧会情報

渡辺おさむは、身の回りにある様々なものに食品サンプル技術を用いたお菓子のデコレーションを施す作品『Fake Cream Art』を展開するアーティスト。2000年頃から、椅子やテーブルをはじめ、日本庭園、寺院、世界遺産に至るまで、様々なものにデコレーションを施すプロジェクトを国内外で行ってきた。2007年長野県信濃美術館で開催された『五感でアート展』では、その集大成とも言える、大規模な「お菓子の美術館」を制作し話題を集めた。
「今回は、IAOファインアーツ所蔵のルノワールの作品と一緒に、ルノワールのデコレーション作品を展示させていただきます。」お菓子の彫刻やシャンデリアなど、本物のルノワールも鑑賞できる「お菓子の美術館」を銀座に誕生させる。

Osamu Watanabe is an artist of decorating various things around us (so called Fake Cream Art” using food sample technique. Since 2000, he has been engaged in decorating chairs, tables, Japanese gardens, temples, world heritage etc. not only in Japan but also in foreign countries. In 2007 Gokan de Art at Nagano Prefectural Shinano Art Museum, he produced a large scale “Sweet Museum”, which gathered much attention.
“I will exhibit decorated Renoir pieces along with precious Renoir works held by IAO Fine Art.” “Sweet Museum” will be opened in Ginza, where you can see genuine works by Renoir, sweet sculptures and chandelier etc.
